Summary of Our Strategic Plan 2010 -- We invite you to join with us in ministry...to reach our goals...

 ●Update our client website by July 2010 and design a separate site for supporters

●Increase our Board of Directors to a total of seven members by May.

●Increase our donor base by 25% and set up automatic bank draft.

●Starting in February, include abortion education and client testimony in our newsletter, Abeletter, on our website and in editorials.

●Publicity:            

      ▪Increase our budget for radio advertising,

      ▪Increase coverage of events through TV, newspaper and radio

      ▪Use Facebook group and You Tube to increase awareness and support

●Develop a church speaking schedule using staff, and board members – making use of video/DVD presentation and testimony

●Speak to at least 4 or 5 more groups using our abstinence presentation: Choosing Healthy Options In Christ Especially with Sex (C.H.O.I.C.E.S.)

●Advertise and continue to offer our abortion-recovery Bible study, Save One

●Train at least one more medical staff member

●Enlist and train more lay counselors

●Network with established college groups in the area

1) Satellite Crisis Pregnancy Centers in Tazewell and McDowell Counties and the Athen’s area.

We currently get calls from these areas and believe that the drive to Bluefield is a hindrance for many. A satellite Center in Athens would also make our services more available to Concord College students and one in the Tazewell/Richlands area would bring us closer to students at Southwest Community College. These Centers would be staffed by volunteers and would offer all of the services that are currently offered through the Center in Bluefield. In order to make this happen, we will need a facility in which to house a counseling room, small office area and storage area.  Since these would be satellite offices, they would mainly require a place to meet with clients.  If you are in a building that has some extra space available and you would consider allowing us to use it, please let us know.  We encourage you to pray about this vision with the Board of Directors and respond back to us with your thoughts.

2) Praise God for fulfilling our vision for a larger facility!  We moved into our new facility at 201 Sylvia Lane in Bluefield, WV in 2000.  Come by and visit us anytime and see what God has done!

3) Praise God for fulfilling our vision of offering an effective abstinence based program to the young people of our area...If you would like for our staff to share this program with your youth group, club or organizaton, please just let us know...

This "Choosing Healthy Options In Christ Especialy with Sex" (C.H.O.I.C.E.S.) abstinence-based program will meet a real important need in the lives of teenagers and young adults. It will take some very committed and interested people to take this vision and make it a reality. You may be one of those people. Call and share your thoughts with us about this idea. And by all means, please pray with me about this.

4) Praise God for fulfilling our vision of offering limited obstetrical ultrasound services to our clients.  Ultrasound service began in October 2006.

5) Praise God for fulfilling our vision of hosting a Post Abortion Awareness and Recovery Seminar.  We held this seminar in 2009.  As a result, we now offer a SaveOne abortion recovery Bible study group for women in our area.
