"Playing 18 holes for the Master"

The Abel Center has been providing hope and help to abortion-vulnerable women since March 1994.  Many women when they find out that they are pregnant experience significant pressure to undergo an abortion.  If they give in to this pressure, we have found that many of them will later regret their abortion and experience serious emotional, spiritual and mental pain known as Post Abortion Stress.

The Abel Center staff comes alongside these women to offer compassionate alternatives to abortion. Since late 2006, when we began offering ultrasound service, at least 70 abortion vulnerable women who came to us for counseling changed their minds about having an abortion.

This is the reason we play 18 holes for The Master and so many of our teams raise funds over and above the $300 entry fee -- so that the Abel Center ministry can continue to help women avoid the painful after-effects of abortion and continue to be a voice for each precious unborn child.
